Picture a cherry red guitar thrown across space. Strandwave flares wide at the back, where its engines roar with yellow flame. A long slim neck stretches forward, and a pale stripe runs down the whole length like a single shining string. A dark glass canopy sits where the sound hole would be.
The mind inside once played music on a moon colony that banned it. She Upleveled so no one could ever unplug her again. Now every move she makes has rhythm. She speeds up on the beat and drifts on the rest.
Her speed is her song. When she opens up, the engines hit a rising note that shakes loose dust from passing rocks, and racers swear they hear a melody in her wake. She is Independent and proud of it, racing in any lane that lets her play loud.
Her finishing move is the Riff. One hard pluck of thrust flings her forward so fast the sound arrives after she is gone.
