Conundrum is a puzzle in motion. At its core spins a dark sphere with a glowing pink brain at its center, surrounded by swirling arcs of magenta energy. Around it orbit a scatter of dark pods, each tethered to the core by crackling pink threads. From one side, a long pink beam lances out across the sky.
Conundrum belongs to the Cyborons, and even they do not fully understand it. It never flies in a straight line. Its pods drift apart and drift back, rearranging into new shapes, like a mind trying out ideas.
The soul inside was a puzzle maker who built riddles for children's books. She Upleveled because she wanted to solve the biggest mystery there is: why the universe exists at all. The Cyborons promised her the answer. They have not delivered.
Its special attack is a perfect ten, the highest it can go. Its signature is the Paradox Beam. The pods line up, channel their power down the pink threads into the brain, and release it in a single searing line. Then the pods scatter again, already working on the next question.
