Service record
Smooth, round and silver, Jack is a classic flying saucer with a glowing red light on its domed top. Beneath it hangs a jointed arm, and from that arm shoots a thin pink laser that bursts into a shower of golden sparks where it strikes. Against a red sky, it looks like the saucer from every old story about visitors from the stars.
Jack's special attack is strong and precise. The arm can swivel in any direction, and the pink laser can cut a door, weld a seam or carve a message into rock. Jack uses it for all three.
The soul inside was a kid who grew up watching old movies about flying saucers. He always wanted to be the alien, not the hero. When he finally got to Uplevel, he asked for the most classic saucer design ever made. The builders laughed. He did not. Now he roams the frontier on his own, visiting quiet worlds and leaving strange crop circles behind for fun.
